Web Crawler

A web page crawler is an automated program or script used to systematically search the World Wide Web and extract information from web pages. Usually, the crawling starts at a specific starting URL and follows links to other web pages to find and visit more URLs. While crawling, the crawler extracts various information such as text content, images, and links to other pages.

This information is stored in a database and can be used for various purposes such as creating search engine indexes, monitoring online information, or scraping data for scientific or commercial purposes.

Advertising Campaign Analysis

Advertising campaign analysis refers to the evaluation and measurement of the effectiveness of an advertising campaign. Analysis involves evaluating the various aspects of an advertising campaign such as objectives, target audience, advertising message, advertising media, and results.

Image advertising

An image advertisement (also called an image campaign) is an advertising campaign that aims to improve the image of a brand, company or organisation. The aim of an image advertisement is to positively influence the reputation and perception of the target group by conveying a certain image or message.

advertising campaign

An advertising campaign is a coordinated and strategic series of promotional activities carried out by a company or organization to achieve a specific goal. Advertising campaigns can take various forms, such as TV commercials, radio commercials, online ads, print ads, billboards, and other types of promotional materials.

advertising motif

An advertising motif is a visual, textual or audiovisual element used in advertising to attract the viewer's attention, convey a message and achieve a desired effect. Advertising motifs can take various forms, such as images, slogans, logos, graphics, animations or videos. They are often used to promote a product or service, but are also used to promote brand awareness, image building or sales promotion.

GRPs (Gross Rating Points)

GRPs (Gross Rating Points) are an advertising industry metric used to measure the effectiveness of advertising campaigns.

GRPs measure the total number of contacts (or impressions) of an advertising campaign within a specific target group. They are usually calculated based on advertising campaigns such as TV commercials, radio ads or print ads and are based on the reach and frequency of the ads.

A GRP is calculated by multiplying the reach (percentage of the target audience that saw the ad at least once) by the average frequency with which that audience saw the ad.

Content-Marketing

What is meant by content marketing?

Content marketing in terms of advertisements refers to the strategy of creating and publishing promotional content that is informative, useful, or entertaining to appeal to and engage the target audience. Unlike traditional ads, which are often aimed directly at promoting sales, content marketing focuses on building relationships and trust with potential customers by providing valuable content.

Advertising media

Advertising media are media or platforms used to disseminate advertising messages. They are used to attract the attention of the target group and communicate the advertising messages. Advertising media can take various forms, such as print media (newspapers, magazines), electronic media (television, radio), online media (websites, social media) or outdoor advertising (billboards, billboards).

The difference between an advertising medium and an advertising motif lies in their function and purpose:

Non-customer analysis/negative customer analysis

As a marketer of media, non-customer analysis refers to the study of potential advertisers who have not yet booked advertising space or services for their advertising campaigns with a media company. This analysis aims to gain a better understanding of the needs, preferences and behavioural patterns of these potential customers who have not yet entered into a business relationship with the media company.

Lead Magnet

A lead magnet is a marketing strategy where companies offer valuable resources, content or offers for free in order to get potential customers to provide their contact information such as email addresses, names or phone numbers. This information is called "leads" because they are potential prospects that could enter the company's sales pipeline.
